A place reminder didn’t go off.

Place reminders need location access set to Always (iPhone Settings → Apps → Whenly → Location). iPhone notices arrivals best after a real trip; on a short walk near home it may not register that you left, so coming back doesn’t count as arriving. Whenly → Settings → Places → Activity shows every arrival and departure iPhone reported.

A moment (like plugging in or opening an app) doesn’t work.

Each moment needs a one-time setup: Whenly → Settings → Moments → Set up. Make sure the automation is turned on in the Shortcuts app and that you tapped Allow when asked.

I’m not getting reminders.

Check that notifications are on (iPhone Settings → Apps → Whenly → Notifications), and that a Focus mode isn’t silencing them. Whenly → Settings → Send a test alert checks that alerts arrive.

How do I move Whenly to a new iPhone?

Whenly → Settings → Export backup, then Restore from backup on the new phone. Location access and moment setups need to be redone on the new phone.

Siri commands

Always include the word “Whenly” so Siri knows the request is for Whenly.
